Focker's Fanjets

Okay, yeah ultra-fail for the semi-self-referential title. Moving on, this is some custom colored line art for my new organization that from the Macross world, "Focker's Fanjets" a aerial performance squad.

Story:
After Space War I a group of former military and civilian pilots formed a traveling aerial performance squad. Among them a two members of Hikaru Ichigo's former flight team. The group purchased four standard Fanracers, an Ikki Tamaki Fanliner and a military surplus Tunny VTOL. The Tunny (bottom) serves as the main transport for the group. The two seater Fanliner (top) while not as fast as the Fanjets is used as the coordination craft and a flight coordinator relays commands to the other pilots. Last and certainly not least the Fanjets (right) do the actual flying and performing. All craft are painted in a white with yellow and black trim in reference to the war hero, Roy Focker. The Fanjets tour all over the world and occasionally even put on performances on planet Eden and in the New Macross fleets. Eventually the group disbanded in 2035 when their planes simply became too slow compared to the other variable planes of the UN Spacy to really put on much of a performance. Most members would later enlist in the private military group "Blue Squadron" and carry on their tradtion of high flying daredevil exploits in the form of Blue Squadron's demonstration team.
